Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Uriage Xémose C8+ Lipid-Replenishing Anti-Itch Balm is an over-the-counter dermocosmetic topical balm developed by Uriage Dermatological Laboratories for very dry, sensitive, and atopy-prone skin, including individuals with atopic dermatitis (eczema). Formulated with a proprietary C8+ complex of eight biomimetic ceramides, 10% shea butter, and illipe oil, the balm is designed to restore the skin's physical barrier and replenish essential lipids. It also features two patented complexes: TLR2-REGUL, which targets the immune barrier to calm irritation, and Chronoxine, which provides immediate soothing of itch. By acting on the physical, microbiome, and immune barriers of the skin, the fragrance-free and hypoallergenic balm helps to space out dryness flare-ups and provide long-lasting comfort for the entire family, including infants.
