Overview

URIEXO Attack+ is an over-the-counter natural health product formulated to support urinary tract health and prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) and cystitis. Developed by Tyros Biopharma, each daily dose delivers a combination of clinical-strength D-mannose (2000 mg) and vitamin C (75 mg). D-mannose serves as a competitive inhibitor that binds to the FimH adhesin on the type 1 fimbriae of uropathogenic Escherichia coli (UPEC), preventing the bacteria from adhering to the urothelium and allowing them to be flushed out during urination. Vitamin C provides antioxidant protection, supports immune function, and helps acidify the urine, creating an environment less favorable to bacterial proliferation. This non-antibiotic approach offers a proactive defense against recurrent UTIs without contributing to antibiotic resistance.
