Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**V-01-351 + V-01-B5** is a combination COVID-19 vaccine candidate composed of two recombinant protein subunit vaccines, V-01-351 and V-01-B5, developed by Livzon Pharmaceutical Group. These vaccines are designed as variant-adapted boosters, targeting immune evasion variants of concern (VOCs) of SARS-CoV-2. The vaccines contain major neutralizing epitopes from multiple strains, particularly Beta and Delta. They are engineered as recombinant fusion protein vaccines that enhance T-cell immunity through antigen design, including IFN-α and a pan HLA-DR-binding epitope fused to the receptor-binding domain (RBD) and dimerized with a human IgG1 Fc domain. The combination aims to induce strong neutralizing antibody responses and robust cellular immunity against existing and emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants[1][3][5].
