valsartan + enalapril

Valsartan + enalapril is a combination of two antihypertensive agents used to manage high blood pressure and heart failure. Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, leading to vasodilation and reduced blood pressure. Enalapril is a prodrug that, after conversion to its active form enalaprilat, inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), thereby reducing the production of angiotensin II and aldosterone secretion.
