Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Super Valetra is a fixed-dose combination pharmaceutical product developed and manufactured by Shree Venkatesh International, primarily indicated for the treatment of male sexual health conditions, specifically erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. The medication combines two active pharmaceutical ingredients: vardenafil and dapoxetine. Vardenafil is a potent and selective inhibitor of cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which enhances the effect of nitric oxide in the corpus cavernosum, leading to increased blood flow and facilitating penile erection. Dapoxetine is a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that increases the time to ejaculation and improves control over ejaculation by inhibiting the serotonin transporter (SERT). By addressing both the physiological and neurological aspects of sexual dysfunction, Super Valetra provides a comprehensive therapeutic option for men experiencing comorbid erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.
