Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VB10.16 + atezolizumab is a combination regimen consisting of VB10.16, a DNA-based therapeutic HPV16-specific cancer vaccine, and atezolizumab, a monoclonal antibody immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). VB10.16 encodes HPV16 E6/E7 oncoproteins fused to CCL3L1 for antigen-presenting cell targeting, aiming to elicit strong HPV16-specific T-cell responses. Combined with atezolizumab, which blocks PD-L1 to boost antitumor immunity, this regimen is studied for synergistic activity in persistent, recurrent, or metastatic HPV16-positive cervical cancer[1][2][5].
