Overview

This combination drug consists of five agents: vibostolimab, pembrolizumab, carboplatin, paclitaxel, and bevacizumab. - **Vibostolimab** is a monoclonal antibody targeting T cell immunoglobulin and ITIM domain (TIGIT), enhancing T cell and natural killer cell anti-tumor responses. - **Pembrolizumab** is a monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), acting as a checkpoint inhibitor to stimulate immune-mediated tumor cell killing. - **Carboplatin** is a platinum-based small molecule chemotherapeutic that induces DNA cross-linking, leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. - **Paclitaxel** is a small molecule that stabilizes microtubules, inhibits cell division, and promotes apoptosis in cancer cells. - **Bevacizumab** is a monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), inhibiting angiogenesis and reducing tumor blood supply. This multi-agent regimen is under clinical investigation (not approved as a single fixed combination) and has been used in oncology clinical trials, especially targeting non–small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and epithelial ovarian cancer. It combines checkpoint inhibition, cytotoxic chemotherapy, and antiangiogenic therapy, aiming for synergistic anti-tumoral activity.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
