VIC-1911 + osimertinib

VIC-1911 + osimertinib is a combination therapy consisting of an Aurora kinase A (AURKA) inhibitor and an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor. VIC-1911 is a highly selective AURKA inhibitor developed by Vitrac Therapeutics, while osimertinib is a third-generation EGFR-TKI that targets both EGFR activating mutations and the T790M resistance mutation. This combination is being investigated primarily for EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has developed resistance to EGFR-TKI therapy. Preclinical data show synergy between these agents in osimertinib-resistant models, with sustained tumor control observed after drug withdrawal in both osimertinib-naïve and resistant xenograft models.
