Overview
Vilanterol + fluticasone furoate + glycopyrronium is a triple fixed-dose combination inhaled therapy developed by Sava Healthcare (Sava Pharmaceuticals Europe) for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions. The combination integrates three active ingredients with complementary mechanisms: vilanterol, a long-acting beta2-adrenoceptor agonist (LABA) that induces bronchodilation; fluticasone furoate, an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that suppresses airway inflammation; and glycopyrronium, a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) that prevents bronchoconstriction by blocking acetylcholine receptors. Delivered via a dry powder inhaler, this combination is intended to improve lung function and reduce the frequency of exacerbations in patients with obstructive airway diseases.
