Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Combination of vinorelbine (a chemotherapy agent) and plerixafor (a CXCR4 antagonist) used for stem cell mobilization, particularly in patients with multiple myeloma. This combination helps mobilize hematopoietic stem cells from the bone marrow into peripheral blood for collection and subsequent autologous transplantation. When combined with granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), the triple combination (VGP) has shown superior efficacy in mobilizing peripheral stem and progenitor cells compared to double combinations.
