Overview

Vitafol-OB + DHA is a prescription-grade prenatal multivitamin and mineral supplement combined with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Distributed by Exeltis USA, it is specifically formulated to provide essential nutritional support prior to conception, throughout pregnancy, and during the postnatal period for both lactating and non-lactating mothers. The product is available as a kit containing a light blue caplet with essential vitamins (including folic acid, vitamin D3, and B-complex) and minerals (including iron as ferrous fumarate, calcium, and zinc), alongside an amber-colored softgel capsule containing 250 mg of DHA derived from natural algal oil. This combination is designed to support fetal brain and eye development through DHA and prevent neural tube defects through folic acid supplementation.
