Overview

A combination regimen consisting of **volrustomig**, **gemcitabine**, and **cisplatin** for the treatment of advanced cancers, primarily under clinical investigation for hepatobiliary cancer and possibly other solid tumors. **Volrustomig (MEDI5752)** is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both **PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1)** and **CTLA-4 (cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4)**, thereby enhancing immune-mediated anti-tumor responses. **Gemcitabine** and **cisplatin** are chemotherapeutic small molecules; gemcitabine is a nucleoside analog that inhibits DNA synthesis, and cisplatin is a platinum-based DNA cross-linking agent. This combination integrates immunotherapy with cytotoxic chemotherapy to potentially maximize anti-tumor efficacy.
