Overview

VRB-101 + VRB-102 is an injectable peptide combination therapy being developed by Verdiva Bio for the treatment of obesity. The formulation consists of VRB-101, a cAMP-biased glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist (ecnoglutide), and VRB-102, an amylin receptor analog. This co-formulation is designed for once-weekly subcutaneous administration to leverage the synergistic effects of GLP-1 and amylin signaling on appetite regulation and metabolic control. By combining these two mechanisms, the drug aims to provide superior weight loss efficacy compared to monotherapy. It is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
