Overview

**Vudalimab + carboplatin + pemetrexed** is a combination regimen studied as first-line therapy for advanced nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Vudalimab (XmAb20717) is a bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting PD-1 and CTLA-4, designed to block two immunosuppressive pathways simultaneously, thereby enhancing T-cell mediated anti-tumor responses. Carboplatin and pemetrexed are standard chemotherapy agents for NSCLC; carboplatin is a platinum-based DNA-damaging agent, while pemetrexed is an anti-folate that disrupts DNA synthesis. This combination aims to unite checkpoint blockade-induced immune activation with direct cytotoxic effects from chemotherapy[1][4][5].
