Warfarin + dantonic is a combination of two drugs used concomitantly, primarily in patients who require anticoagulation (warfarin) and may benefit from the cardiovascular effects of dantonic. Dantonic (also known as T89 or Dantonic®), developed by Tasly Pharmaceuticals, is a traditional Chinese medicine formulation used for cardiovascular conditions such as angina pectoris; it contains active herbal ingredients believed to improve microcirculation and reduce ischemic injury. The combination has been studied due to potential drug-drug interactions affecting warfarin’s pharmacodynamics (notably INR changes), but there are no fixed-dose combination products; rather this refers to co-administration in clinical practice[1].
