WJB001 + carboplatin + nedaplatin

WJB001 + carboplatin + nedaplatin is an investigational combination therapy comprising WJB001 (a novel oral small molecule inhibitor of Exportin 1 protein), carboplatin, and nedaplatin, being studied for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. WJB001 is designed to inhibit Exportin 1 (XPO1), a nuclear export protein involved in transporting tumor suppressor proteins out of the cell nucleus, thereby potentially restoring tumor suppressor function. The platinum agents carboplatin and nedaplatin are DNA-damaging chemotherapeutic drugs commonly used in oncology, working as DNA crosslinkers to inhibit DNA replication and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. This combination is undergoing Phase I/II clinical studies to assess safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and initial efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors, including but not limited to those with CCNE1 overexpression or amplification, such as uterine serous carcinoma, high-grade serous ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and peritoneal cancer[1][4][7].
