Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xiao'er Fengre Qing Heji (XFQOL) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal oral liquid manufactured by Handan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for pediatric use. Developed based on the classical Yinqiao Powder formula, it is indicated for the treatment of influenza and acute upper respiratory tract infections in children, particularly those exhibiting wind-heat syndrome. The formulation possesses heat-clearing, detoxifying, and antipyretic properties, operating through multi-targeted mechanisms that include the inhibition of viral replication and the regulation of immune responses. It was approved by the Chinese National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in 2020 (Approval No. Z19990012) and has been evaluated in clinical trials comparing its efficacy to oseltamivir.
