Overview
Xiao'er Haoqin Kanggan Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical formulation developed by Suzhou Yusen New Drug Development Co., Ltd. It is specifically designed for the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections in children, particularly those diagnosed with the "wind-heat with dampness" syndrome (风热夹湿证) according to TCM principles. The name suggests the inclusion of *Artemisia annua* (Hao) and *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Qin), which are traditionally used to clear heat and resolve dampness. The drug is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in China to establish its safety and efficacy profile in the pediatric population.
