Overview
Xiao'er Haoqin Anti-cold Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Suzhou Yusen New Drug Development Co., Ltd. for the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) in children. The formulation is specifically designed to address the "wind-heat with dampness" syndrome, a common TCM classification for respiratory ailments characterized by fever, sore throat, and dampness-related symptoms. It is currently undergoing Phase II clinical evaluation in China (Trial ID: CTR20240277) to assess its efficacy and safety in pediatric patients aged 3 to 12 years. As a multi-component herbal granule, it aims to provide a standardized therapeutic option for pediatric URTI within the framework of traditional medicine.
