XNW4107 + imipenem + cilastatin

A fixed combination product containing three agents: **XNW4107**, a novel small molecule broad-spectrum β-lactamase inhibitor; **imipenem**, a carbapenem antibiotic; and **cilastatin**, a renal dehydropeptidase-I inhibitor. The combination is designed to treat serious infections caused by drug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria, including carbapenem-resistant strains such as carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (CRPA), and Enterobacteriaceae (CRE). XNW4107 in particular inhibits serine-β-lactamases, including OXA-type enzymes that are not inhibited by other β-lactamase inhibitors, restoring and enhancing the activity of imipenem against resistant organisms. Cilastatin protects imipenem from renal metabolism, maximizing efficacy and minimizing nephrotoxicity. Developed and owned by Evopoint, this triple combination is in Phase 3 clinical trials for severe infections such as hospital-acquired and ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia, complicated urinary tract infection, and acute pyelonephritis[1][4][6].
