XS15 + multi-peptide vaccine

XS15 + multi-peptide vaccine is an investigational cancer immunotherapy developed by the University Hospital Tübingen for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The product consists of a novel adjuvant, XS15, combined with a cocktail of HLA-presented peptides derived from leukemia-associated antigens. XS15 is a synthetic, water-soluble lipopeptide that acts as a potent Toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) agonist. By targeting TLR1/2 on antigen-presenting cells, XS15 enhances the immunogenicity of the peptide antigens, promoting the induction of robust and long-lasting CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses. This therapeutic approach is primarily intended for patients in remission or with minimal residual disease to eliminate remaining leukemic cells and prevent disease relapse.
