yinqiaosan + maxingganshitang

Yinqiaosan + maxingganshitang is a combination of two foundational Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulas used for the treatment of acute respiratory infections. Yinqiaosan, originally described in the *Wen Bing Tiao Bian*, is composed of herbs like Lonicerae Japonicae Flos and Forsythiae Fructus, primarily aimed at resolving exterior wind-heat syndromes. Maxingganshitang, from the *Shang Han Lun*, consists of Ephedrae Herba, Armeniacae Semen Amarum, Gypsum Fibrosum, and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, and is traditionally used to clear lung heat and relieve cough and wheezing. Together, this combination is frequently prescribed for viral pneumonia, influenza, and COVID-19.
