Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A pharmacological combination consisting of yohimbine, an alpha-2-adrenergic receptor antagonist, and hydrocortisone, a glucocorticoid. This combination has been studied for its effects on panic symptoms and attention to social threat cues. Research suggests that hydrocortisone may attenuate the panic symptoms induced by yohimbine. The combination has shown unique effects on attentional bias to emotional stimuli compared to either drug alone.
