Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**YYB101 + irinotecan** is an experimental combination therapy consisting of YYB101, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), and irinotecan, a topoisomerase I inhibitor. YYB101 blocks the HGF/MET signaling pathway, inhibiting tumor growth, migration, and infiltration by binding to the alpha chain of HGF, thereby preventing its interaction with the MET receptor[1][5]. Irinotecan interferes with DNA replication by inhibiting DNA topoisomerase I, resulting in DNA strand breaks and cell death[2][4]. This combination is being investigated for the treatment of refractory/metastatic solid tumors, notably metastatic colorectal cancer[1].
