Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YZHER2:V2 is an **affibody-based targeting agent** designed for diagnostic imaging and therapy in HER2-positive cancers, especially ovarian cancer. It acts by specifically binding to the HER2 receptor on the surface of tumor cells, enabling both precise molecular imaging and targeted radiotherapy. When radiolabeled with iodine-131 (^131I), ^131I-YZHER2:V2 accumulates in HER2-positive tumors, helping to visualize and treat these malignancies. Preclinical studies have shown rapid blood clearance, high specificity for HER2-expressing tumors, and promising efficacy in delaying tumor growth and extending survival in animal models. The agent’s strong tumor-targeting capability and good safety profile indicate its potential as a targeted radionuclide therapy (TRNT) probe for HER2-overexpressing cancers[1][2].
