Overview

Zanubrutinib + BEAM is a combination regimen consisting of the small molecule Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor zanubrutinib and the high-dose chemotherapy conditioning protocol known as BEAM. Zanubrutinib selectively inhibits Bruton tyrosine kinase, disrupting B-cell receptor signaling and leading to apoptosis in malignant B cells. The BEAM regimen includes four chemotherapeutic agents—carmustine (BCNU), etoposide, cytarabine, and melphalan—used primarily as a conditioning treatment before autologous stem cell transplantation in lymphoma patients. This combination is being explored for relapsed or refractory lymphomas to enhance anti-tumor efficacy prior to stem cell transplant[5][6][8].
