Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Zanzalintinib + belzutifan** is an investigational combination therapy being studied for the treatment of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). Zanzalintinib (also known as XL092) is a small molecule multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that inhibits various receptors involved in tumor growth and angiogenesis, notably VEGF receptors. Belzutifan is a small molecule inhibitor of hypoxia-inducible factor 2α (HIF-2α), disrupting hypoxic signaling pathways that drive cancer cell survival and proliferation. The combination is under evaluation for efficacy and safety in patients with ccRCC who have recurrent disease after prior anti‑PD‑(L)1 therapy, in investigational trials.
