Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Zocilurtatug pelitecan + atezolizumab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of zocilurtatug pelitecan (formerly ZL-1310), a delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3)-targeted antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), and atezolizumab, a programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1)-directed checkpoint inhibitor. Zocilurtatug pelitecan delivers a novel camptothecin derivative (a topoisomerase 1 inhibitor) payload directly to DLL3-expressing tumor cells using the TMALIN platform, while atezolizumab enhances the anti-tumor immune response by blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway. Developed by Zai Lab, this chemotherapy-free doublet regimen is currently in Phase 1b clinical development as a first-line treatment for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), demonstrating high objective response rates and encouraging durability.
