Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZSP1273 + oseltamivir is an **oral fixed-dose combination of two antiviral drugs** with distinct mechanisms used for the treatment of influenza A infection, including oseltamivir-resistant strains. ZSP1273 (Onradivir) is a novel, potent inhibitor of the influenza A virus RNA polymerase PB2 subunit, showing efficacy against multidrug-resistant influenza A and B viruses. Oseltamivir is a viral neuraminidase inhibitor widely used to treat and prevent influenza. Preclinical and clinical studies demonstrate that the combination confers strong synergistic antiviral effects, significantly reduces viral titers, mitigates infection severity, and lowers mortality compared to monotherapy. The combination is intended to enhance therapeutic efficacy and reduce resistance development by acting on independent viral targets.
