Target intelligence / Profile preview
ALG1 like 11, pseudogene (ALG1L11P) is classified as a pseudogene in the human genome[3][5]. Pseudogenes are nonfunctional segments of DNA that resemble functional genes but have lost the ability to encode a protein due to accumulated mutations[7]. As such, ALG1L11P does not produce a functional protein or have known biological or disease roles. It is not considered a therapeutic target, and there are no known drugs or mechanisms associated with it. Pseudogenes can sometimes be transcribed into RNA, but generally have no direct biological significance or therapeutic relevance[7].
