Mechanism of action

Neutralization of extracellular BAG3 to prevent its binding to the IFITM2 receptor on macrophages, thereby inhibiting the activation of the PI3K/AKT/NF-κB signaling pathway and the subsequent release of pro-tumorigenic cytokines.
