Overview

Tyrosine-protein kinase BTK (Bruton's tyrosine kinase) is a non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase that plays a central role in B-cell development, differentiation, and signaling. Mutations in the *BTK* gene cause X-linked agammaglobulinemia (XLA). Pharmacological inhibition of BTK has emerged as an effective strategy for treating various B-cell malignancies.
