cAMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 4A (PDE4A) is a member of the phosphodiesterase 4 family, which plays a critical role in regulating intracellular levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) by catalyzing its hydrolysis [ResearchGate, UniProt].
