Target intelligence / Profile preview
CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 7 pseudogene is a processed pseudogene related to the CNOT7 gene, which codes for a component of the multiprotein CCR4-NOT deadenylase complex involved in mRNA metabolism and transcriptional regulation. This pseudogene does not produce a functional protein and is not implicated in therapeutic targeting or disease mechanisms directly. The related protein-coding gene, CNOT7, participates in mRNA deadenylation and modulation of gene expression, but the pseudogene itself is generally considered non-functional in protein-coding terms[5].
