CHORDC2P (cysteine and histidine rich domain containing 2, pseudogene) is a non-protein coding gene classified as a pseudogene[5]. Pseudogenes are genomic DNA sequences similar to normal genes but are generally non-functional; they do not encode products with biological activity and are not considered therapeutic targets. There is no evidence that CHORDC2P has biological function, disease relevance, or interacts with drugs.
