Target intelligence / Profile preview
The Dengue virus envelope protein (DEN-80E) is a recombinant, truncated form of the dengue virus envelope (E) protein, comprising approximately 80% of the full-length E protein. It mediates viral attachment and fusion during cell entry and is a major target for neutralizing antibodies. DEN-80E is used as an antigen in experimental tetravalent subunit vaccines.
