Excessive internal fire (toxic-heat) syndrome

"Excessive internal fire/toxicity" is a traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic concept, not a molecular entity. It refers to a pathological state characterized by "heat" or "fire" arising from the imbalance of yin and yang, usually involving excessive yang (heat, activity) relative to yin (cooling, moisture)[1][3][5].
