Heat shock transcription factor Y-linked 4, pseudogene (HSFY4P) is a nonfunctional genomic DNA sequence located on the Y chromosome that shares sequence similarity with functional heat shock factor genes, particularly HSFY family genes, which are involved in transcriptional activation of heat shock proteins.
