HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein (Env; subtype C) is a trimeric complex consisting of gp120 and gp41 subunits, crucial for virus entry into host cells by mediating binding to CD4 and chemokine receptors CCR5 or CXCR4[1][2][4][5][6].
