Tumor-associated antigen peptides presented by HLA-A*02:01 are short peptides derived from tumor proteins. These peptides are presented on the surface of cancer cells, enabling recognition by cytotoxic T lymphocytes, making them prime targets for cancer immunotherapies. Their restricted presentation via HLA-A*02:01 and their origin from overexpressed/uniquely expressed tumor proteins provide specificity against cancer cells.
