Immunoglobulin heavy variable (III)-13-1 (IGHVIII-13-1)

Immunoglobulin heavy variable (III)-13-1 (IGHVIII-13-1) is classified as a pseudogene within the immunoglobulin heavy chain variable region family. Pseudogenes are DNA sequences that closely resemble functional genes but are not translated into functional proteins due to disabling mutations, lack of regulatory elements, or incomplete transcripts[8][6][2].
