Target intelligence / Profile preview
INO80B-WBP1 is a non-coding RNA locus formed by a naturally occurring readthrough event between the INO80B gene and the downstream WBP1 gene on chromosome 2. This transcript is a candidate for nonsense-mediated decay and does not produce a protein product. It is not classified as a receptor, enzyme, or other typical drug target class. The RNA is thought to arise through transcriptional read-through but is rapidly degraded in cells. There is currently no evidence for its direct involvement in human disease, nor is it the focus of therapeutic targeting or clinical biomarker studies.
Not applicable (no known mechanism for drug interaction)
