Overview

MAS1 proto-oncogene like, G protein-coupled receptor (MAS1L) is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily characterized by seven transmembrane domains[5]. It is predicted to have G protein-coupled receptor activity and to be involved in GPCR signaling pathways, which play crucial roles in cellular signal transduction by responding to external signals and activating intracellular signaling cascades[5][1][2]. MAS1L is localized in the cytosol, nucleoplasm, and plasma membrane[5]. While its precise endogenous ligands, detailed biological functions, and disease associations remain largely uncharacterized, MAS1L is considered a putative receptor target based on its structure and domain architecture[5]. According to current databases, there is no strong evidence directly linking MAS1L to particular approved drugs or established roles as a disease biomarker or therapeutic target in common diseases.
