Target intelligence / Profile preview
Nitric oxide synthase 2, inducible pseudogene is a non-protein-coding genomic sequence related to the inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS/NOS2) gene. Although classified as a pseudogene, such sequences may have regulatory roles at the RNA level, such as modulating the expression of the functional NOS2 gene via antisense interactions or producing regulatory RNAs. However, they do not encode catalytically active proteins and are not considered therapeutic targets for drug or antibody intervention[2][3][5][8][11][12].
