"Novel antisense transcript to EPH receptor A7 (EPHA7)" (ENSG00000287683) is a predicted long non-coding RNA gene transcribed from the DNA strand opposite to the protein-coding EPHA7 gene. While antisense lncRNAs frequently regulate their sense partner gene through transcriptional interference, RNA stability modulation, or chromatin remodeling, there is currently no experimental evidence clarifying the specific function of this antisense transcript. EPHA7 itself is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in neural development and cancer, but the role of its antisense RNA, if any, remains unknown. As such, this transcript is neither a validated therapeutic target nor a known biomarker, and no drugs are known to interact with it[3][4].
