The P2X purinoceptor 7 (P2X7) mRNA 3' untranslated region (3'UTR) is a critical regulatory segment of the P2RX7 gene transcript that controls the post-transcriptional expression of the P2X7 receptor protein (Zhou et al., 2008, PMID: 18660825).
