Target intelligence / Profile preview
PLCB1 intronic transcript 1 (PLCB1-IT1) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed from the intronic region of the PLCB1 gene. As a non-protein coding RNA, PLCB1-IT1 is not translated into a protein product and is believed to function primarily in the regulation of gene expression. While many long non-coding RNAs have been implicated in the regulation of cell proliferation, migration, and other cancer-related processes, there is currently limited direct functional annotation available for PLCB1-IT1 itself. Its specific roles in physiological or pathological processes remain to be clarified, and there are no known drugs or therapeutic interventions targeting PLCB1-IT1.
