Target intelligence / Profile preview
Proteasome 26S subunit, non-ATPase 7 pseudogene 1 (PSMD7P1) is a pseudogene located in the human genome. It shares significant sequence similarity with the protein-coding gene PSMD7, which encodes a non-ATPase regulatory subunit of the 26S proteasome complex involved in ATP/ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis. However, PSMD7P1 itself is a non-functional homolog that does not produce a protein and is not implicated as a therapeutic target, functional biomolecule, or disease marker[3][7].
