Target intelligence / Profile preview
The protein phosphatase 2, regulatory subunit B', epsilon isoform pseudogene (ENSG00000224155) is a nonfunctional genomic sequence related to the PPP2R5E gene, which encodes a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 2A, an important enzyme for the negative control of cell growth and division. This pseudogene does not produce a functional protein, is not a therapeutic target, has no known biological or disease role, and does not interact with drugs. Its presence in the genome is the result of evolutionary duplication or retrotransposition events, but it does not carry out molecular functions attributed to its functional homologs.
