Unlike its protein-coding paralog RASA4, which is involved in regulation of the Ras signaling pathway, RASA4CP does not produce a functional protein and has no documented biological activity, disease association, or therapeutic relevance[2][5][7]. Its existence is primarily a genomic annotation, and it is not known to play any role in signaling, drug response, or pathology.
